SHS Ski Tour Austria 2015: Arrival day

We have arrived safely in Austria and have been fitted for boots and skis.

Our itinerary

Friday 27 March

0335 Meet at the Botanical Gardens for a 3.45am PROMPT departure. Please allow space for the coach to park.

Meet the coach outside the Botanical Gardens. You will be allowed one suitcase and one small travel bag. Remember YOU have to carry it, no porters, mums or dads, so pack with care. Wear sensible shoes and comfortable clothes. Hand in any medication (clearly labelled) to Mrs Downes. Hand in any pocket money (clearly labelled) to Mrs Torr.

0445 Arrive at Manchester Airport

0720 Depart Manchester on Lufthansa flight LH2505 for Munich

1015 Arrive Munich (UK time +1 hour)

On arrival at the resort we will collect skis and boots (don’t forget to pack one pair of ski socks in your travel bag). We will also have some time to unpack and chill out before the afternoon’s activities.

Skiing

Saturday 28 March – Wednesday 1 April

Each day at lunch you will have a hot meal at the hotel and then a three-course meal in the evening.

Shopping Day and return details

Thursday 2April

We will leave the resort in the morning after breakfast for the day in Innsbruck. A packed lunch will be provided by the hotel. After our day in Innsbruck, we will travel back to Munich Airport.

2145 Lufthansa flight LH2504 departs

2250 Arrive Manchester Airport

Friday 3 April

0030-0100 (approx.) Arrive at the Botanical Gardens

We will contact you via SchoolComms when we set off from Manchester Airport.

Evening Entertainment

There will be a variety of activities such as -

Movie nights
Torch walks
Shopping
Swimming
Disco
Pizza Night
Tour of area and to Bergisel (Ski Jump)

These might be subject to change but, rest assured, there will be plenty to do!
